The principal artists at Very Good Studios have been in the business of live events and communications for over twenty years, developing and operating programs for some of the most prestigious brands in the US and Canada.
We’re not about stock art. Very Good Studios creates original content precisely tailored to fit your multi-screen ambitions — panoramic, stereoscopic, or interactive. We know all about extending space with life-like virtual sets, and reshaping space by architectural or theatrical projection mapping.
We understand business. Our creative team bridges with client leadership to ensure the media we create is on message, on brand, and on budget. We’ve developed executive presentations for a wide variety of industries — including automotive, banking, biotech, corrections, insurance, pharmaceutical, sports entertainment, and retail — each with its own business culture and unique regulatory requirements.

Studio co-founder and senior production manager David O’Brien is a designer, editor, and photographer with twenty years experience as a commercial artist. David got his start in music engineering and eventually graduated to architecting multi-screen multimedia extravaganzas for live events.
Studio co-founder and creative director Matthew Hemming is an animator, director and producer trained in stop-motion by artist Aiko Suzuki and in stereoscopics by legendary effects wizard Peter Anderson, ASC. Matthew was apprentice to oil painters John Smith and Vince Mancuso before beginning work as a computer-based commercial artist in 1996.
David and Matthew are privileged to work with a host of dedicated artists whose diverse specialties allow Very Good Studios to offer a variety of in-house services, from videography and green-screen effects to custom 3D modelling and original music composition.
